So I'm running a new campaign with Mall Rats.
There's no response, it's just a heap of plushies. |

Mall Rats are varied in kind and skills, but all serve only one master: the great god Greed. A Mall Ninja serves a greater power: Pride. In the service of Pride, you take a Lord. Your Lord is the best Lord, and protecting them is your purpose. Anyone who questions your methods is just jealous.
Thanks to Grek for figuring out how to get Unstable to work.
Also thanks to TitleKnown for ordering me to create this class.
Also I suppose this is a bandwagon Assassin class
A mall ninja, probably
So I'm writing this on my phone. Hopefully that'll be fine. Ok I fought autocorrect three times writing that sentence, it's not fine. Whatever. The prompt is from https://spiceomancy.blogspot.com/

So it's GLOGtober again. Longtime readers know that every GLOGtober I participate in something called "October", which is a kind of month. Anyways whoever you are, if you're reading this you probably know what GLOGtober is but if not there's an explanation here: https://glass-candles.blogspot.com/2024/09/glogtober-24.html
I'm just gonna roll 1d76 every day for a prompt and post until I get tired/stressed/bored.
Today's prompt is from https://whosemeasure.blogspot.com/

It's true!
So I was thinking about more 80s/90s cult classics to base 80s/90s cult classes off of, and I realized I'd never seen Buckaroo Banzai. And then I realized that I *had* seen Miami Connection.

Friends through eternity, loyalty, honesty, stay together through thick and thin.
So it is day 24 of October, but only day 15 of GLOGtober. Time has become misaligned with itself. Tomorrow will be yesterday, and the day after will be next January. Today I chose - and it is my choice now, I have broken free from the RNG that bound me - I chose a very simple prompt. Or maybe it's a complicated prompt and I don't get it?
"Random encounters on an ancient road," says Locheil. Well now I'm wondering why the road is specified as ancient. Must I take that into account, somehow? How old is ancient? El Camino Real is older than anyone I've met, or anyone they've met. Can I be an encounter? Maybe. Hopefully I'll figure it out after the page image.
I think this place is on El Camino Real. It's complicated, I guess.
So I've been kinda running a vampire game in my Mall Rats "setting" for a few months. We've only had three sessions, but still, I've put a lot of thought into Mall Vampire.
But rather than posting about how that Mall Vampire works, I'm going to create a new Mall Vampire.
My third GLOGtober prompt is Vampires by the way.
Two maps.
This one isn't keyed in case you want to use it in a VTT or something.
so someone requested d50 unexpected things to find in a corpses pocket for secret santicor(e|n) and i didnt get that prompt but i felt like doing it anyways. heres a d666 table
it might not actually be a d666 table whoops
So this is a class that is inspired by a sport that I don't know anything about.

You use these instead of shoes.
So I accidentally deleted the Tomb of Xzyzzyx. So here it is again, from memory and with probably some changes.

In the name of the... star, I guess.
So here's a class inspired by an old PC near and dear to my heart. His name was Mr. Special.
So I'm still making GLOG classes to fill out Mall Rats. Pretty much the only pre-2000s rap I really listen to is Rage Against The Machine and a couple Beastie Boys albums... And the only post-2000s rap I listen to is like, Death Grips, 100 gecs, and Eichlers.
Why am I making this, I have no cultural context for anything.
Inspiration taken from HEIMJING's Calligrapher class.

It's not even real gold it's just painted stainless steel.
So I figured I should probably expand what I'd actually written on Mall Rats. I've got a decent amount of ideas, but they're all in my head - rendering the rulebook a bit underwhelming. So here's some monsters you can use in Mall Rats, hopefully giving people a bit of a better idea of what I'm going for.

It's a dude in a mall.
I "made" an "RPG" called "Mall Rats". It's mostly just YAGH but with different classes.
