GLOGTOBER 4: SWIRLING RAINBOW VORTICES

So I initially read "vertices" and was preparing to try to write a glogpost about shaders somehow. But that's not what the prompt was.

SWIRLING RAINBOW VORTICES

Class: Vortex Wielder

You start with an oversized paintbrush (2 handed, 1d10 damage).

Starting Skill:
1=Romantic (Start with sword, a fine dark coat)
2=Postmodern (Start with urinal, beret and dark sunglasses)
3=Realist (Start with hand mirror, ordinary clothing)

A: The World Is My Canvas, Fascination
B: Whirlpool
C: Portal
D: Impart Vortex

The World Is My Canvas
Your paintbrush can paint in any color you wish, on any surface. The paint can be washed off with water. You can use any paintbrush to do this - your starting brush is merely oversized, not magic.

Fascination
If you paint a rainbow swirl at least a foot in radius, you may cause it to Become Fascinating. The larger the swirl, the more time it takes to paint but the more likely people are to see it. When someone other than you looks at the swirl they must make a save (or a MIND check with a penalty of -4). On a failure, they cannot look away from the swirl until they succeed on the save (they may make it once per turn) or someone forces their head away from it. On a success, they no longer need to save against that specific swirl.

Whirlpool
If you paint a rainbow swirl on the floor that's at least 3 feet in radius, you may turn it into a whirlpool. When someone else steps on it, they must make a save (or a MIND check with a penalty of -4). On a failure, they trip as the floor beneath them spins (in their mind, at least. Everyone else sees the floor stand still). On a success, they still have to make the save the next time they step on it.

Portal
Whenever you paint a rainbow swirl, you may have it connect to the last rainbow swirl you painted. Anything passing into one swirl will come out the other. Whenever you connect two swirls, all other swirl connections are broken.

Impart Vortex
If you paint a rainbow swirl at least 5 feet in radius, you may turn it into a True Vortex. Anyone looking at a True Vortex must make a save (or a MIND check with a penalty of -4). On a failure, they gain a level of Vortex Wielder and will no longer attempt to harm you (although they might hurt any allies you have).
