So I've been making more and more rulings on my GLOG games, and felt like I needed a document to compile them. So I did the obvious thing and learned how to use Scribus to make a PDF. I think it turned out alright, but this is basically a first draft. Please comments and criticisms, down below. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteYAGH tiny review!
ReplyDelete- Stat generating is done in a unique way to keep things kinda-sorta balanced, and guarantee that everyone has a big obvious weakness and a big obvious strength
- Incredibly readable
- The death dice system is good and fun (I know this to be the case because it's mine)
- "Animal Friend (NOT BEAR)" this is lies and slander
- All of the classes are cool and crunchy and I feel like I could have fun playing any of them. My first choice would be the Wizard with their pokemon-like spirit summoning and familiar binding
- I reckon all of the levelling up systems could be streamlined a little. All the systems could have the same level progression (200xp needed for level 2) but failing a roll granted, say, 30xp (roughly accurate) while 1 gp still = 1xp
I rate this a G out of 10.
Thanks! I'm giving the XP thing some serious thought, but I'm not sure. I kinda like not having XP values in the hundreds if you don't need them to be, but it would also be nice to just use one table. I initially decided to have the lower values where I could, but now I'm not sure.
DeleteEnded up changing the XP.
